With the impact on photographers from the postal strike, we have great news that we’re going to be working extra hard to deliver a Standard turnaround service unaffected by our Christmas closure, and you can continue to send film in as usual during this time. If your film arrives with us on/before Friday December 20th, we aim to have Express/Super Express orders turned around before Christmas.
The lab and office will be closed briefly over the festive period from 23 December. Express and Super Express service won’t be available until we reopen in the new year. Orders will be held safely and acknowledged once we reopen on Monday 6 January.
If you have an enquiry while the office is closed, please do check out our FAQ page, which we’ve tried to make as comprehensive as possible. If you can’t find the information you need, please email hello@canadianfilmlab.com and we will reply on our return to work. All social media messages will also be responded to at this time.
Special shipping note for international clients: If you’re planning to book a DHL pick-up or drop-off, please continue to book shipping as usual during this time, and we will book your shipment and send through your waybill. Please note that DHL pick-ups are unavailable on the following dates: December 21, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29 and January 1
Our UK-based ‘Film forwarding’ service will also not be operating during this period, though any orders will be safely held in the meantime. Film forwarding will resume as usual week commencing January 6th.
Next Up! As you may have seen, we have been “beavering” away (Canadian pun intended!) on a number of new offerings for our clients, and there are yet more to come. Already launched is our print service and our full frame medium format scans; please see our website and blog for details. Early in the new year will be another exciting new addition for our clients, so watch this space!
